Fourth of July Style Inspiration
Independence Day is coming up next weekend & I can’t wait! The fourth always means picnics, BBQs, pool parties, fireworks, friends & awesome outfits! While I’ve been thinking of what I’ll be wearing this coming weekend, I decided to make a special 4th of July-inspiration board.
For this style set, I used Chloe & Isabel jewelry from my 4th of July collection to make this look perfect for the holiday festivities. I’m a sucker for polkadots, thanks to my mom (she used to tell me bedtime stories about a girl named “Polka-dottie” and her best friend “Liney”), so I think the blue and white dress is really cute! This is an easy look to pull together and super fun for a backyard BBQ!
For my Independence Day festivities, I will totally be trying out some of these DIY’s:
These drinks rimmed with blue pop rocks look so tasty and fun to make (and drink)
Something about summer time just makes all fruit taste a million times better than normal, so serving it up at a party is a great idea! These kebobs would be easy to make and easy to eat!
One of the best parts about July 4th are the fireworks, and this year I want to get my own sparklers for friends to celebrate with, because lets be honest, nothing says party like shooting off some sparklers!
What will you be doing to celebrate this coming weekend?
Style Inspiration
Hello everyone! I recently was flipping through a magazine and found some awesome inspiration that I wanted to take and make my own creations based off of. I’m not the kind of person who likes to follow or buy into trends, but I do like to find different styles and make them my own. I think sometimes if you follow trends too much and take them too seriously, you can end up not feeling like yourself and your own personal flare becomes someone else’s. You should always try new things and be fearless because that’s how you create your personal style! I’ve never been into acting, but I think what you wear can totally influence the way you act, so in a way switching up your style is like becoming a different version of yourself each time!
And since I’m always trying to change up my style, one of the things I love the most about my Chloe & Isabel jewelry is that it can enhance any one of the different styles I want to try.
What do you think of the green-on-green or print-on-print look?
